CONCLUSION
In the tested samples, Carter Country ribeye measured higher than one or both benchmarks in several categories, most notably:
- Omega profile (3.25x the omega-3s of the USDA benchmark, 1.9:1 omega 6:3 ratio)
- EPA and vitamin E (228% more EPA than USDA, 144% more vitamin E than retail)
- Minerals (61% more iron and 92% more calcium than retail)
- Contaminant screening (arsenic, cadmium, mercury and lead below the limit of quantification in the tested samples)
While conventional beef shows advantages in protein content and some B-vitamins, Carter Country's samples led on omega-3s, EPA, vitamin E, iron and calcium.
Bottom Line: in these tested samples, Carter Country beef delivered exceptional nutrient density alongside clean screening results on the tested contaminants - measured, not marketed.
