Tallow is rendered beef fat. PURELY Original is made from the kidney fat of our grass-fed cattle in Ten Sleep, Wyoming, gently rendered and blended with local honey, rosehip seed oil, frankincense, myrrh and ormus. Tallow's fatty-acid profile is close to that of human sebum, which is why it sinks in rather than sitting on top of the skin.
All three start from the same grass-fed tallow base. Original is the botanical one - local honey, frankincense, myrrh, rosehip and ormus. PURELY Free is the simplest, with no added fragrance and no preservatives, built on snail mucin, sea buckthorn and freshwater pearl. PURELY Electric is the awake one, with coffee bean extract, copper peptides and squalane.
It goes on richer than a lotion and then settles in. Warm a pea-sized amount between your fingers and press it into damp skin - most people use far less than they expect, and a thin layer is the whole trick.
Keep the jar cool, dry and out of direct sun. Tallow is a fat, so heat can melt it and separate the oils, which shortens the life of the product. It ships in glass rather than plastic to protect the bioactive ingredients.
